History: It is one of the oldest temples in Lamphun province. The temple is very important and the first temple that Kruba Srivicha was ordained in and is where the great monk passed away. Wat Ban Pang is spacious and shady. On the top of the temple, there are lovely views, as is located on the hill. When Kruba Srivijaya was alive, the temple was created in Lanna architectural style. It contains some of the most delicate features in a temple in Thailand. There is a beautiful Vihan, as well as the Kruba Srivijaya Museum, which has all his personal household belongings kept there.
